The “Other Guy” V.S. Tatango
Some of you may have read our blog post about how All Text Messages Are Not Created Equal but we understand that sometimes you need proof. Our CEO, Derek Johnson was sent the message below from a group using one of our competitors, which we labeled the “Other Guy”. When he replied STOP and HELP to opt-out of the group, nothing happened… To show you the difference, Derek responded STOP after receiving a group message from Tatango. This is an example of the difference a user experiences when using a service like Tatango that uses SMPP messaging, compared to the “other guy” using SMTP messaging.
