Rails Engineer - Bellingham, WA
We're a growing internet company seeking to expand our engineering team. We're looking for a professional, innovative, and creative individual to fill a rails engineering position.
We're located right in downtown Bellingham, just down the hill from WWU, right on the major bus lines and a short walk from most downtown restaurants and shops.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain existing Rails codebase.
- Design and implement new and innovative features.
Qualifications:
- Direct experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Familiarity with agile, extreme, or TDD development methodologies.
- Strong problem solving and analysis abilities.
- Familiarity with Linux or Mac OS X development environment.
- Be comfortable in a fast-paced, short dev cycle environment.
Plusses:
- XMPP or SMPP experience.
- Facebook Application development experience.
- Experience with iPhone development.
- You're a MySQL guru.

Engineering Intern - Bellingham, WA
We're a growing internet company seeking to bring on board an intern to work closely with our engineering team. We're looking for a professional, innovative, and creative individual for our Engineering Intern position.
We're located right in downtown Bellingham, just down the hill from WWU, right on the major bus lines and a short walk from most downtown restaurants and shops.
Responsibilities:

- Implement analysis tools for large amounts of data (see sidebar)
- Work closely with existing engineers to expand test coverage and resolve specification discrepancies.
- Document existing codebase and assist in developing specifications for future code.
- Provide support to engineering staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong problem solving and analysis abilities.
- Familiarity with Linux or Mac OS X development environment.
- Some experience in Ruby, Perl, or Python.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior web development or Linux administration experience.
Plusses:
- XMPP or SMPP experience.
- Experience with Ruby on Rails.
